Bye-Bye Bulky Vision Boards – Hello Pocket-Pal!

Have Vision-Board, Will Travel: 3-Steps to a “Pocket-Size” Vision Board….

It seems like everyone I know LOOOOOVES vision boards!

And for good reasons:

When you see images reflecting those things you desire most, it evokes some seriously-strong emotions. Emotions that ripple those desires out into the Universe at large, so they can be received, and granted.

And however woo-woo that might all sound, it can work wonders.  And HOW!

But the thing about vision boards is that they’re clunky, bulky, and often don’t fit nicely into your home’s stylish décor.  Plus, they’re oh-so tricky to lug around with you when you’re traveling, headed to work, or running errands. And the thought of carrying around a giant bulletin board of magazine cut-outs might dampen your style, or prevent you from walking easily through doorways.

You need something portable – something that you can gaze upon, day and night… the more times a day, the better! Something that can fit into your purse, glove compartment or inside the medicine cabinet door.

Because successful people have focused, written goals. Goals they look at, and think about, day and night. Over and over. When they wake. Before they sleep. And during many moments in between.

So what’s a driven woman on a mission (like you) to do when you LOVE seeing inspiring visuals, but just can’t quite make them teensy and tote-able?

One of my mentors, Henry Evans, taught me a simple, but clever trick…

Just follow these 3 simple steps and you’ll have your own “Mobile Manifesting Visualizer” ready to roll:

1.    Determine Your 4 Boldest Goals.

First, decide what 1 goal is most important to you in each of life’s more vital categories. Then take a piece of paper and divide it into 4 equal sections.

I’ve broken mine down into 4 distinct areas:

Career, Relationships, Health and Spirituality.

Write 1 main goal beneath each of the 4 categories – the MOST important goals you’d like to achieve this year . . . and make sure they’re bold and eye-catching! Include a Due-Date at the top of the page, just to hit home WHEN you want these gems to appear!

(For example, on the top of my paper I write: “January 1st, 2013 Goals”).

*While you CAN have more than 1 goal listed beneath each category, make sure that the MOST important goal is highlighted in some way.

Many people try to bite off far more than they can chew – so the more focused you are, the more likely these are to come true! Juggling too many goals simply waters down your efforts, and dilutes your energy – which creates only frustration. Yick.

(I’ve included a sample from my own “Mobile Manifesting Visualizer”)

 2.    Select Images for Your Desires.

The next step is to find images that reflect your 4 main goals and arrange them on the back of your Goal-Sheet from #1 above.

You can find these awesome images on the internet, in magazines, or even putting pen to paper and drawing your own!

Make sure to select images that evoke the strongest positive emotions possible!  The name of the game is to focus as often as possible on what you desire WHILE feeling over-the-moon . . .

Then arrange these images in a visually-pleasing way on your sheet of paper. Easy-peasy, right?

Now on to the final Step #3:

3.    Seal and Celebrate!

I think taking things to a polished place can lock in our commitment to our dreams. So to take your efforts up and over the top, take your newly created goal sheet and hussle over to your local Kinko’s or copy center.

Ask them to laminate your creation so it’s easy to carry in your purse, binder, car or suitcase. Heck, make an extra one for a placemat and eat off your dreams for the coming months – them wipe it clean when you’re done!

Even though most successful people revamp their goals throughout the year,  it’s easy enough to boogie back over to Kinko’s to laminate rounds 2, 3 and beyond!

Or if you become a laminating addict (like myself) pick up your very own home model for a very low price. (I own the “Purple Cow” Laminator – you can find it on Amazon for under $30).

Want to go the extra mile and create your Pocket-Size version? . . .

Simply shrink your creation down to ¼ it’s original size: and voila! You’ve got yourself a Pocket Vision Board – ready for the car, nightstand, bathroom mirror or pocketbook.  I have small versions lying all over the house – and keep the large version for my desktop.

So I hope these simple steps get YOU in the mood to manifest your lil’ heart out!

Remember, the name of the game is:

  1. Focus Often.
  2. Feel Fabulous doing it!!!!

Here’s to YOUR dreams coming true…

Until next week, be Unstoppable!
