My 5 Secrets for Working F-A-S-T!!!

When You Step into Unstoppable,  Life Gets FAST – Here’s 5 Ways to Keep Up with this Fabulous Flow:

As you stroll along life’s journey, you’ll notice something peculiar . . .

The more you claim your unstoppability — living full-out, without
resistance, fears or limitations —  the more Source energy will flow through you.  When you’re living life in alignment with who you were divinely designed to be, inspiration and energy pick up speed – flowing faster and faster and faster.

The faster and bigger it gets, the more proof that you’ve stepped into your life’s unique mission.

And at some point you face the challenge of how the heck to get everything done that sits on your pretty plate. If you don’t find ways to be selective with your energy, efficient with your time, and smart with your priorities, you can run into a major log-jam that can wreak all sorts of frustrating havoc.

You want to have plenty of time to rest, relax and rejuvenate. You want time for play, adventure and time with those you love.

So to help you get that balanced-blend, here are my 5 favorite secrets to getting things done FAST – and get ready to start saving at least 1-3 hours a DAY.

On your mark, get set, GO!

1.    CHANGE IT UP.

It’s easy for all of us to get into ruts. So if you find yourself floundering to keep your focus, try changing rooms, hitting the local café, renting an office, or working from a nearby hotel room.

A change of scenery can do wonders for inspiration and energy, as well as dramatically increase your ability to focus, create and get things done.

 2.    REMOVE DISTRACTIONS.

If you’re wasting time or taking forever on tasks, try removing distractions: Disable your internet. Close your email. Unplug the phone. Wipe your desk clear. Remove visual noise from your view.

Every object, project, shape and color before you is just like a pesky person, vying for your attention. Get rid of them, and POOF: Productivity!

 3.    SET A LIMIT.

Having a time limit can be the sweet-something to make bad-tasting tasks go down smooooooooooth — so I often work in 45 minute bursts. I’ve found that for this amount of time, I can face just about anything, and it prevents pesky procrastination from rearing it’s ugly head.

So when you’re tackling something new, unknown, or just downright tough, turn it into a game by setting a timer and race yourself to the finish line! (Just make sure you treat yourself to something delightful for 15 minutes to follow.)

TIP: Don’t forget about those 5-10 minutes when you might find yourself “waiting” (in line, for a friend, for an appointment, on a plane, while commuting, etc.) If you think ahead, and come prepared with some small tasks at hand — it can allow you to chip away at multiple tasks over a week, giving you more quality downtime for those things you LOVE!

4.    PSYCHE YOURSELF UP.

To keep your eye on the big-picture-prize, it’s important to remain upbeat and inspired — especially when facing creative tasks like writing, brainstorming, marketing, strategizing, designing new content or crafting  curriculum.

So try creating rituals before tackling these tasks to help get your motor running: try taking a walk, doing some cardio, dancing wildly, meditating, calling in your higher power, or whatever cool idea sets your body and mind on FIRE — and makes you feel unstoppable!

5.    BATCH SIMILAR STUFF.

Bunching similar tasks together can save you tons of time — and tons of brainpower. Studies show that every time you switch gears, it takes you 15+ minutes to get yourself back to your original, 100% focus.

Bundling things like: phone calls, emails, filing, organizing, or internet research, can help you obtain peak performance and save oodles of time! Why not write 4 articles in 1 sitting? Why not answer all your emails just 3 times a week? Why not devote Monday + Friday mornings to returning phone calls? ( You get my drift!

The more you can do in the least amount of time, helps you make more money, help more people AND keeps you sane — so that you stress less while doing it all.

So try on one of my 5 favorite productivity ideas above. And if you have your OWN productivity secrets to share, leave them for all of us to enjoy in the comments section below!
