2 Words NO Woman Should Repeat…

I talk to a lot of women each month.

Probably women much like yourself.

And when met with opportunities to transform their lives and make big changes, I often hear them say 2 little words that make my chest ache:

“I’ll wait.”

No, no, I’m not talking about waiting when it comes to that delicious just-right divine timing. No. I’m talking about being ready… but being scared. So scared you innocently hit life’s breaks and come to screeching halt.

It’s like having a world-traveling luxury liner at your fingertips, but you keep locking your inner Captain in the engine room while Skipper Scardy-Cat steers your boat (with his eyes closed, no less).

When life offers you opportunities to make big change, and you look around only to see chaos, headaches, excuses and roadblocks — it’s easy to find yourself hitting the ol’ Pause-Button. Or praying for a perfect, peaceful opening (chocked full of money, time and bravery, of course) to allow you transform with effortless ease.

But you see: life’s details rarely ever line up in nice neat little rows. Few and far between are the moments when the Universe breezes into your life like a wise, white horse trotting down a red, velvety runway.

Oh sure, we all want it to. But that’s just not the way life rolls.

While our brains want life to be easy, effortless and organized, your Soulful nature wants anything BUT. It wants growth, challenge, opportunity and learning. It wants to be stretched to its limits so it can experience what it’s truly made of.

And it’s worth a reminder: every single moment you waste “waiting” is a moment that you can never, ever get back again. Sayonara, baby!

So let me tell ya, sister…

• It was NOT (dietarily) convenient to start a healing cleanse right before attending a meditation retreat this past week. But I started the cleanse anyway.

• It was NOT (financially) convenient to hire my brilliant business coach, Stella Orange. But I hired her anyway.

• It was NOT (mentally) convenient to shoot a TV show with 0 experience (and the chance at national humiliation). But I went for it anyway.

• It was NOT (physically) convenient for my dad to get sick right before launching my last Unstoppable Bootcamp. But I went ahead and taught it anyway.

If you wait for all your ducks to gather in nice, neat yellow rows before ever stepping full-out – you can easily wind up at the end of your life without ever having begun.

So I invite you to say “YES!” to life this week. Embrace something new. Step into something wonderful. Pave new territory. Stretch beyond what you believe to be possible.

Pick just 1 area where you’ve been holding back, making excuses, or “waiting” for the right moment. Then feel the fear… and do it ANYWAY.

Then share your stretch in the “comments” section below… and inspire another woman to take a big leap, too.
